  • It is your responsibility to attend your skills day prepared. You must view the videos, study/memorize the skills sheets BEFORE you attend any skills day.

  • You are expected to arrive on time.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be sent home, sent a no show fee, and have to reschedule.

Skills Testing Day:

During your skills testing day you will be tested on all of the NREMT skills. There are also a few ground rules to keep in mind:

  1. All stations are treated as testing stations and not learning stations. You will not be prompted, assisted, or taught by the examiner at any point in time throughout the day. You
should be familiar and comfortable with these skills by your Skills Testing Day.
  2. You will only be allowed one remediation attempt per skill. If you fail your remediation attempt you will have to preform your final attempt with the Course Director or Course Coordinator. If you fail your final attempt, you will be dismissed from the program.
  3. If you fail 4 or more skills you will be required to leave and attend the next skills testing day.
  4. When you are not actively testing you are to remain in the staging area. You may study skills sheets, but you may not converse with fellow students. If you give any information about any of the skills you have tested on to another student, all skills will be marked as failed and you will be required to leave. Your case will be sent to the Education Committee for review and disciplinary action will be implemented up to and including dismissal from the program.
