GENERAL CLINICAL ROTATION TIPS

• You are not confirmed for a clinical shift until the Clinical Coordinator has sent you written confirmation.
• All shifts are assigned based on availability of the Clinical Site. RCHS does not control their schedule. We will notify you when we are notified.
• Your arrival time at the Clinical Site should be 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
• You will need to add an additional 30 minutes on to your recommended GPS arrival time to ensure punctuality.
• Whatever you put into your clinical rotations is what you’ll get. Show initiative. Don’t hold up the wall.
• If you get a late call, take the late call. It’s part of the job.
• Take criticism well, be nice, be early, be courteous to everyone, listen and learn, and have fun!

Acadian Ambulance has stations throughout Bexar County in San Antonio, TX. Shift start times are varied. Be prepared to start between 0400-1000 for a 12 hour shift. You are not guaranteed a particular station. You must be prepared to go to any of the stations listed below. As with all clinical sites, shift times are based on availability and there are no guaranteed dates/times. You are not confirmed for a shift until your Clinical Coordinator has confirmed it with you.

Allegiance Mobile Health has 12 hour shifts available and are generally scheduled 0600-1800. Certain units may have varying start times. You will be notified by the Clinical Coordinator.

North Blanco County EMS is in Johnson City, TX. Shifts are generally available 7 days a week either 0700-1900 or 1900-0700. As with all clinical sites, shift times are based on availability and there are no guaranteed dates/times. You are not confirmed for a shift until your Clinical Coordinator has confirmed it with you.
